A- Any food item too hard or too sticky should be avoided. Dry fruits can be taken after crushing but should not be taken raw. People can play mouth musical instruments; dental braces will not cause discomfort in that.
Q- Are there any side effects related to dental braces?
A – Food sometimes getting stuck between the braces is a common occurrence with dental braces. If brushing is not done well then white spotsmay develop and break the enamel. The instructions must be followed by the patients. Also, brushing needs must be done more often and cleansing every time after meal. Kids need to take extra care while playing.

A- Retainers are given to the patients after the procedure is complete. Retainers are to be worn for retaining the balance (Can be worn overnight on weekends).
Q – Can aligners be removed for 2-3 hours in a day?
A- Yes, ideally 22 hours in a day for aligners is sufficient. In case you want to remove it, 2 hours maximum removal is allowed. In case there is no need you can wear them for 24 hours in a day.
